Chuck Joyner Triumph.Three Time Castle Rock T.T. Winner

Triumphs dominated the N.W. Flat Track races in the 60's through the mid seventies.
They were especially well suited for the T.T. tracks Sidewinders in Portland and Castle Rock, 50 miles north. In the day, they raced on skinny Pirelli 400 X 19 on the front and Carlisle's 400 X 19 on the rear, which enabled them to be ridden in the most spectacular style. Full lock, feet up and flat out up over the turn one hill and through turn two down the back straight hill at Sidewinders. They did things on those skinny tires you can't do on these monster meats they use today.
