Brunner had it in the bag, looking good until he lost out at a red flag restart to a hooked up and hauling' Honda.

Max Whale nailed third after battling through from 7th.

He gained a position when his KTM team mate went down and restarted in the back.

The young Aussie must be very happy he ended up third.
