Jeffrey Carver Jr. Harley XR 750, Third Place, Atlanta Short Track.
On the right tracks, the Classic XR 750 is a contender as Carver has proved.
He has breathed life back into the Flat Track Grandfather when all others
have given up hope against the new Red Indians. Granted, a lot has to do with the rider
and Jeffery is highly skilled and super motivated and a pleasure to watch race. At Atlanta Speedway he was the only rider in the Main to attempt the very high line at the beginning of the race and he made it work, spectacularly. That took Skill and Cajones which Carver has in spades. He has a new Indian at his disposal but I hope he sticks to the tried and true H.D. and gets a bunch of Wins on it.
Of all the bikes at all these Custom Bike Shows around the country, none have the raw pleasing aesthetics of this BMW concept bike from the 30's
Slant Artist Jim Kyle won many Hill Climb Championships on different British climbers but none equalled the sheer torque and climbing ability as his HRD Vincent .
