The King of Cool was back to old ways with a fine 2nd place ( behind Winner Jared Mees / Indian ) riding an Indian in his Final Season.
Jeffrey carver Jr. got his hot-rod harley XR750 on the podium after an intense battle with Kenny Coolbeth. The Factory Harleys reputation was saved by a stunning ride by Vanderkooi. But Carver on a very fast and reliable XR750 got the Motor Company back on the Podium again. Not the way they would like it but they won't complain.
