Jared Mees / Indian win Perris Half Mile

Mees had his new Indian hooked up and haulin' at the I V League Perris Half Mile.
Mees with his, what was thought to be, number one rival on this day, Brad Baker on the Dodge Bros Harley. Mees flying his No.1 for a few more months. Come 2017 and he will be back to #9
The Main was a beauty with local fast guy Kayl Kolkman riding the wheels off his privateer YAMAHA ! to a fine second place. Third on a Kawi, was young Jarod Vanderkooi showing his considerable talent and drive.
First job for the winner, collect the trophy and the check. Second concern, check the tire and see what kind of punishment the FTR layed on it. Mees and tuner Kenny Tolbert hope Dunlop can come up with a stickier, longer lasting combo for next years Championship. The bikes are limited to approximately 100 HP with which they decimate the current tire offering over the 25 lap mains on the Mile. This tire seems to have a fair amount of tread left. If it was a Mile it would be completely bald on the left side. Better tire, more HP could be applied.
