Slippery Studey

The '53 Studebaker Commander is one classic American design that fits right in with some of the all time great  American masterpieces like the Colt Cowboy Revolver, the Colt 1911 Pistol, The P-51 Mustang and the original '65 Ford Mustang. The Studebaker's slippery shape endeared it to speed loving fans from the git go and they have been filled with all kinds of power plants to see just how fast the shape would let them go. Commanders have reached incredible speeds at both Bonneville and El Mirage since 1953 and they are still breaking records and will be for a long time to come.
