Bonsey taken out in racing incident

Stevie Bonsey was really on form at Springfield but very unfortunately got taken out as he was tipping into Turn 1. Baker pulled out of his draft at the last moment tried to squeeze by but was too close and took out Bonsey's foot. From that split second on, it was a high speed lay down for Stevie who was helpless to do much of anything except ride it out which he did backwards into the hay bales, his bike going into the air fence. Apparently he broke his C-1 and scratched his liver and kidney. Those injuries are very serious but I am happy to hear it is not a whole bunch worse. Bonsey is as tough a racer as you can get and I bet he will back at the front ASAP. Get well Stevie.
