Jake Johnson rode like the Grand National Champion he is, to win a decisive victory over the GNC1 field. Sammy looked strong but Jake slapped him around and roosted him. Then Zanotti Racing Team mate Kenny Coolbeth did the same to Sammy and took after Jake. Johnson was long gone and Jake slid under the flamboyant flags of Kevin Clark and it was all over. What a race and ending to the opening of the AMA Flat Track season. Zanotti Racing are on a roll and it will be fun to watch their progress throughout the year.
