Sammy looked fast and focused at the Sacramento Mile. He put a one hell of a fight in the Main and in a flurry of last lap draft drives and power positioning got aced out as they crossed the line. But fifth place in a war of wills that lasted the last 7 laps is nothing to sneeze at. I thought Sammy might take it a little bit easy,nursing his recovered knee and shoulder injuries. Definitely not, he was giving it everything he had and if anything seemed more determined than ever.
