Two time World Champion ( 250 GP , World Superbikes) John Kocinski was Flat Tracking at Pomona in the K&N Open Class. He showed why he is a multiple World Champ with a clean and fast style that proved to be highly competitive against a field, mainly made up of big twins. Kocinski showed his talents with a convincing Heat Race win putting himself squarely in the Main. John rode a Woods Rotax that was perfect in every respect. Great to see a super accomplished Road Racer get on the dirt and make it look easy.
