Ron Wood was not the first guy to think a BMW would make a bitchin Flat Tracker. The artist of the model box illustration has his Beemer out front and kickin butt on a field of JD Harleys at what looks like a traditional mile horse track. The K1 is on Willow Springs 1/2 Mile during a practice. I was waiting to get what I thought would be the inevitable spectacular endo photo. It didn't happen, this guy was flying (relatively speaking) on what I would consider the most unsuitable bike possible for dirt tracking.
