Vintage Trans Am racing is the best 4-wheel motor sport in America, bar none. They require the same technique as a Flat Track Bike on a dirt track. You have to drive them with the throttle and hang the back end out to get the most out of them and this is what makes them exciting, to say nothing about the glorious sound blasting out of a whole field of high revving small block V8s. These cars are from an era when aerodymanics was unheard of and big horsepower and big cajones was the way to get these bad boys really haulin'. Watch a pack of these battle it out on any road course and you see why this class fueled the Pony Car sales in the late 60s and early 70's. History has a way of repeating itself and with the current crop of Mustangs,Camaros and Challengers flying out of showrooms the TRANS AM II might be sliding around, crossed up and on the gas in 2012.
