Taco Tuesday

I became a real Bultaco fan at Sidewinders in Clackamas, Oregon. The great majority of the bikes in the two stroke classes were Bultacos and put on a show they did. Sidewinders was a brightly lit beacon in a very dark, Douglas Fir Forest. Viewed from the parking lot, there was a huge column of glorious bean oil smoke going straight up into the heavens which just lingered there on hot summer nights. Most of the Spanish ring dings looked very jewel like, with bright red paint, completely polished motors, chrome chambers and super shiney rims and spokes. Under the lights, at speed, they sparkled like christmas trees. I am sure all you Sidewinders fans can put your self right back there now, holding that big, flimsy paper cup of Blitz, drinking in atmosphere and getting dirt in your beer.
