Mike Kidd won the No.1 Plate on his XR-750 but Honda hired him away for the No.1 Plate which he has here on his Factory CR-250 blasting out of turn 4 in what looks like a heat race. Track looks typical hard,rough and slippery and not very well prepared condition. If they worked on the track it could be perfect loamy, moist and cushioney. That didn't happen very often. Mike is wearing an Italian NAVA injection molded helmet. He must have got sponsorship from them. It was a very modern looking helmet with a big flimbsy pop up shield. I liked the look and bought one immediately. Turns out the thing rang like a bell ( No Pun ) when you got roosted and made it unusable.
