Tony Dodge inducted into the Trailblazers Hall of Fame.
Tony Dodge's love of motorcycles, racing and family were recognized at the Trailblazers 80th Annual Banquet, March 15th, 2025. Dodge Brothers racing was founded by Tony's Dad Gene and his Uncle Wayne in 1947 with a passion for Flat Track racing. The Dodge family was raised at the track and wasn't long before they were all racing and some wrenching. Their success is lengendary, as are the field of Indians and Harleys they campaigned. Tony, Andy, Eddie, Chris, Daryl and Joe have made up the Racing Team along with Wives, Girlfriends, Cousins and Nephews. To witness the Dodge Bros. Team at the track in action is a joy to behold. Brad Baker won his Grand National Championship aboard the Dodge Brothers Racing, Harley Davidson XR 750s. These are the same bikes that proved the XR was still a winning contender in 2024 with Sammy Halbet twisting the throttle on the ony air-cooled carbureted bike in the field. Tom Seymour, Tony Dodge and the Marvelous Miss Billie. Both Tom and Tony have been collaborating in the SuperTwins since the mid 90s. Dodge Bros. Racing XRs and Tom's Saddlemen sponsorship. Tom and Tony having a lifelong passion for motorcycle racing and GNC Supertwins in particular. Tony, brother Andy, Brad and Joe Suebert an intregal member of the team. The Dodge Brothers Indian Chout from the 40s still being raced by family members to this day. Tony's Dad, Gene and his brother Joe getting ready to ride at The Shop's Vintage Races, Ventura back in the day. That was a excellent annual event that went on for a decade. Many a lucky Flat Tracker have had the pleasure of riding with the Dodge team, namely Brad Baker, Kayl Kolkman ( who both put in sensational rides on the '38 Indian Scout. Brad says he was only a couple of tenths off his 450 times on the screamin' Scout) and Sammy Halbert most recently and Doug Chandler, Terry Poovey, Kevin Atherton, Jared Mees, Rick Hocking, Eddie Castro and Jeffrey Carver. No doubt many more Racing Greats will get a chance to race the Dodge machines in the future and bask in the honor of racing under the Dodge Brothers Racing Banner. Congratulations Tony Dodge, you certainly belong in the Trailblazers Hall of Fame.
