The Real H.A. in the Arden WWII
The Only Medal That Matters I was with my old buddy, Ernie J. Pico, Los Angeles Motorcycle Shop Owner ( Big City Sales, Los Angeles ) and famed motorcycle tuner, working in his home shop and I came across a box of medals. I asked Ernie to tell me about these, he grabbed the box and rifled around in it and pulled out a long blue one with a rifle on it. He said this is the only one that counts, they give you this if you have been in combat. When you see a Military man wearing his medals, you look for this one, giving me a stern look that I understood. I saw this photo of a GI helmet and a couple of those Combat Medals and a bunch of Nazi shit. Ernie was a foot soldier G.I. in WWII and fought the Nazis from North Africa, starting in Algiers and then up through Italy, all the way to Berlin. Ernie at El Mirage. We went to tune for Ventura The Shop Vintage Races. My Velo Viper 350.
