These bikes and On Any Sunday started the dirt bike revolution. They were in the showrooms lined up deep, when OAS hit hard. It has been on from then on !
DT-1 Diehard Tom Ferguson on his at Dehesa. It was his first time out in Leathers and a steel shoe.
Tom and his buddy went down to the dealership, bought home a brand new DT-1, stripped it down immediately ( his mother accused them of stealing the bike), lowered the frame 2", sold the stock parts back to the dealer and bought and built the bike into this Flat Tracker. Proud Tom with his sister and mum.
Tom's rode the very same DT-1 46 years later, at this years Hell on Wheels, Hot Summer Nights TT, under the lights at Perris Short Track
