Ducati have four separate teams in MOTOGP. In 2023, VR46 and Gresini teams will get last years engines, in order for the lower teams to not embarrass the big boys in Ducati Corse and Pramac.
So whats new about that ? This year Bastianini has won three times on last years championship winning bike of Pecco Bagnaia. It looks like it is sometimes a blessing to have last seasons equipment.
