The young gentleman from Oregon charged to a stunning victory on the High Banked Charlotte Half Mile, passing the soon to be AFT No.1 Jared Mess in a move that is sure to be remembered. Davis got the bit between his teeth and clocked his fastest lap of the race on this last lap to win. Fisher got the first one out of the way and this is surely the first of many Supertwins victories.
