Came across this great photo of Jim on Sonny Angel's Manx Norton at Paradise Mesa Airport Road Race in 1957. Jim was an accomplished road racer riding a wide variety of machines all over the country. He was a Factory Rider for Moto-Bianchi, with team mate Jess Thomas and won a couple for them at Daytona.
Here Jim battles at his favorite track, Santa Fe in Chicago, riding his beloved Harley Sprint. He is in good company with Brelsford, Reiman, Romero and Palmgren. Must be '68 judging by Jim's full Face Bell Star as he helped develop it.
