It was all Varnes on his 360 Bultaco Astro. This is a great series as us older fans get to see our heroes of past days come out and whip these exciting two strokes around. The bikes are cherished just as much as the riders. It is a real treat to have the Bultacos back because it has been a long time since we have smelled bean oil and heard compression release flutter at the Nationals. Rev'n Kevin has not lost any of his skill and determination as he "Smoked" the field. And I see he is still sponsored by Saddleman for whom he rode their beautiful Orange XR750s and had some good success.
Davey Durelle a strong second place finish indicates this guy hasn't lost any off his skills either. Great to have these legends back in action and hard on the gas.
