Sammy Halbert in a classic Flat Track slide all the way around turns 1 and 2 at the Pomona Half Mile. Sammy will be competing on a Bultaco Astro against, arguably the best Flat Trackers in history ( all aboard Astros) at Fite Klubs Short Track Sensation June 9th. I am excited to see Sammy have a shot at some of his heroes and I predict he will do very well. Halbert has suffered terribly for the last few seasons aboard very inferior equipment although it was Factory Motor Co. issue. 2020 was looking really good for Sammy as he joined Kenny Coolbeth's Indian Nila racing effort. And then we got slayed by the Plandemic. AFT Racing resumes in July at the Volusia Half Mile in Florida and I am really looking forward to seeing Halbert on a competitive Indian FTR. Sammy has had enough pussyfootin' around and I believe he might be the hungriest racer in AFT Twins.
