Bryan Smith back on Harley for 2020 on a V&H, XG750R. It has been a while since he raced a V-Twin H.D. but, when he did he was a winner. Kawasaki, Indian and back to Kawi didn't fare to well for him, and I don't see how a Factory (read slow and unreliable) XG750 is going to change his fortunes. Maybe Harley have bitten the bullet and are coming out with a pure race motor. I could see how that might entice Bryan to jump on an Orange and Black machine. They should have done it long ago. For the amount of $$$$ V&H have spent on developing the XG, they could have had several versions of a pure racing power plant. Bryan has the talent, he just needs a machine that can hook up. Howerton is involved and hopefully Bryan's dad who builds fast Harleys, can instill some extra ponies, traction and reliability into the very dubious HDXGR.
