The Long and Short of it all, Dan Bromley AFT Singles #1 and Shayna Texter team up on Red Bull Factory KTMs to take on all challengers, one of which will be KTM mounted Jeff Ward who is bound to give the Factory Team fits on the TT courses. Jeff is 7 time National MX Champ and Supermoto National Champ ( which will definitely help him on the Pavement/Dirt Daytona TT track.) so he knows his way around a 450 Single. Jeff is accomplished on four wheels as well as two. He led the 1997 Indianapolis 500 for many laps before finishing a well deserved third place. He spent some time in NASCAR, so this guy is a racer's racer.
Jeff back when he was the same age as the guys he will compete against in 2019. He will definitely be the senior citizen on the AFT tour this year but, don't let his 57 years of age fool you. He is as fast and fit as he ever was and his presence alone will invigorate the Singles Class TT events and hopefully some of the Short Tracks. Good Luck Jeff ! Another KTM Red Bull in 2019 MOTOGP with French wildman Joann Zarco on the throttle. This guy is incredible and a lot of fun to watch. Hopefully he too can get the KTM out front and boogieing.
