The Senior TT is the big race of the IOM TT races and is the final race of the event. 6 long laps around the island circuit is a real test of man and machine and Peter Hickman riding the Smith's BMW 1000RR really pulled the trigger on the last lap and flew to an astounding 135 mph average lap and win the race. That took an amazing amount of skill, commitment and bravado that you can only witness at the IOM TT.
Peter Hickman also took a third in the Super Sport race which is stock bikes on stock tires. Dunlop provided their new Sport tire with which Hickman set an all time record for a famous section of the course on "Treaded" tires. Faster than any slick shod bike ever through that section !
