Circuit of the Americas, Austin,Texas considered one of the premier race tracks in modern history has been effected by the soil it is built on and is moving constantly causing big wallows and bumps all over the track, including on the straight and high speed corners. All racers deal with the same problems but it is unsafe and causing a great reduction in the quality of racing. The track has been flooded numerous times and then heated in the Texas sun and the expansion and shrinkage of the soil has turned the track into a disaster. What to do, other than a complete resurface which will surely be subject to the same results after the next flood, heat shrink cycle. Bummer! as this has been the creme de la creme of road racing circuits in America if not the world. Andrea Iannone Team Suzuki says "I'll just wheelie through the rough sections!"
