Yamaha were mighty proud of their Grand National win and Roberts was just getting started on it.
The AMA thought they were too squirrely and couldn't envision a whole field of them doing battle, so they banned them. I don't think Kenny complained too loud about their decision.
I do appreciate seeing Kenny out there demoing the bike. He rode it like it needed to be ridden and he showed he still has it !
