Mees dominates AFT Final @ Perris Half Mile National

I am finally back in action after a wild Flat Track weekend in So Cal. First with the incredible" Night Before The National" Perris Short Track SCFTA, followed by the AFT National at the Perris Auto Speedway. Both nights full of thrills and excitement , making it a totally enjoyable few days.
Jared Mees fires up the crowd with a victory burnout on his Factory Indian after dominating the last race of the year at the Perris ,California Half Mile. Mees came into the race already having won the championship and he was determined to end the year with another win, which he did in grand style.
A large and enthusiastic crowd enjoyed the whole nights racing which was really competitive in all classes and illustrated exactly why the fans love the sport. Mees was really enjoying the win and after a spectacular smoke, decided to thrill the crowd with an impressive wheelie down the front straight , going the wrong way. He had the Indian wound out tight with the front wheel hoisted high and proud. Thrilling to say the least. The crowd roared with approval.

You don't see too many reverse direction, 100 mph wheelies. The Perris crowd did and they won't forget it.
Mees slowed down enough to pick up his Team Owner and Mentor, Graig Rodgers and give him a thrilling victory lap. What a way to end an absolutely fantastic, Southern California night.
