Werner's reputation precedes him as the Guru of Tuning when it comes to Harleys and now Kawasakis in Flat Track Racing. It would be great if he could equal his win record with XR750 with the Japanese Twin but, that would obviously nye on impossible. He does have wins with them ,two this year with Briar Bauman on the Werner tuned Zanotti Racing Kawasakis. The younger Bauman, Bronson is doing a fine job on Bill's main steed, collecting a nice 12th at the Springfield Mile II. The season is winding down quickly and the potential is high for another win in 2017 with both the Bauman Bros. twisting the throttle on Werner powered weapons.
Bill with his wild man racer Gary Scott on one of the Motor Co.'s XRRR. Bill knows all about racing rivalries with brothers from these days and the feuding Gary and Hank show. Those were rougher days back then from a different era. The Baumans are very cool cats and any shenanigans would be totally out of the question unless, they are battling for the checkers and I would love to see that.
