Essential equipment when climbing on any two wheeled device, especially when you are headed out onto a racetrack. The studs on the heel of the palm are a great idea and I know from first hand experience. I layed down my vintage racing Triumph Bonneville coming out of the rabbit ear, turn two, Big Willow. First thing to touch the tarmac was my throttle hand and every stud was dimpled and abraded in an alarming fashion. The glove was toast but my hand was totally unscathed.
