Vanderlann was absolutely haulin' on his GNC2 Honda 450 Single. Not often do you see a 450 battle it out with 750 twins but, such was the case at the Perris 1/2 Mile. John harried none other than National Champ Brad Baker on his XR750, lap after lap. Vanderlann would get off the corner better than the Harley and pull up along the inside of Brad. Exciting stuff but, he could not make it stick and ultimately, in a hell or high water pass attempt that failed ,ended up going high up in the cushion and lost the battle. This guy has what it takes and I look forward to seeing him in action in the future.
