Bryan Smith dominated the Springfield Mile with savy riding and big Kawi horsepower.
He led 24 of 25 laps and had the juice to thwart any attempt at his command of the lead. It was Kawasaki vs Harley with Triumph, KTM, Ducati, Aprilia and Suzuki (and Yamaha) trying to keep up. .
Mees( Rode like the Champ he is), Baker ( Brads back!), Halbert ( Holy F#*%@! Kawasakis)and McCoy( Well done Willie!) fought valiantly but to avail. Smith could goose it any time, anywhere and go right to the front. Taking nothing away from Bryan Smiths excellent ride but, the Crosley, Howerton Kawasaki looks to be a powerhouse on the big track (and quite possibly the Half Miles too) that is going to be very difficult, if not impossible to beat.
