Class of 79 Rookies - The Flat Track Family
One of the greatest aspects of our sport is the people in it. A more friendly and helpful group of folks who watch out for one another , you will not find. A perfect example of the greater flat track family is the "Class of 79 Rookies" an organization to help to injured riders. Made up of the AMA Rookies of 1979 and their friends and fans, they get together and put on events to raise money for their injured riders fund.If you are an injured rider and need help, contact them.
Here is a photo of one of their gatherings during the Springfield Mile weekend at Boones Saloon.
