This is a poignant moment between two warriors. Champion Jared Mees hands over his highly coveted #1 plate to the victorious, new Champ , Brad Baker. Usually this is a big part of the ceremony ,with great fan fare at the conclusion of the final round of the Grand National Championship but, at Pomona in October it turned out to be a personal heartfelt moment between the past Champ and the new #1.
Finally, Brad has in his grasp ,the goal of his entire motorcycle racing career. Brad fought tooth and nail to attain his prize and it will be one hell of a racer who can wrestle it out of his very determined and talented hands.
