Sammy Halbert - Pomona Half Mile

This is why I'm a Sammy Halbert fan. He rides to win and every lap is in pursuit of that goal. At this seasons last race, the Pomona National , Halbert showed a forceful, fluid aggression that translated into a full throttle fest of up against the fence, feet up dirt tracking. Sammy would really throw it into the corners, in an incredible display of guts and hopefully glory. It wasn't to be, as the tricky track in the Main, spit him off and out until next season.

Sammy makes sure he is not chopping anybody off as he cuts down for the blast down Pomona's long back straight.
