Jared Mees #69 Wins SCFTA Perris Pro Main

It was unusual for Jared Mees to be able to race Perris. He came to SoCal out of the points chase with no possibility to win the No.1 plate Saturday night at the Pomona Half Mile National. The only good thing about that was, he could finally race the SCFTA " Night before the National". Mees borrowed Jethro Halberts bike and set about learning the track. In the Main , Jared worked his way to the front and on the 19th ,White Flag lap he passed Bugs Pearson ,who had led the entire distance and Mees slid under the checkers with an impressive victory. The National Champ loved Perris and got a chance to show his short track stuff on the famous California 1/8 Mile oval.
If you want to learn Perris, go to school on local Kayl Kolkman.
