Mees rode with purpose at the Sacramento Mile. Mother Nature had been on his side recently and rained out a couple of big races which suited Jared to a Tee because he would have had to sit them out due to a broken arm. So Sacramento was a new ball game and even though his arm is not yet healed, the opportunity to gain points and be in the hunt meant he had to race. Mees had a special cast made, modified his leathers to accommodate it and got on his Rogers Racing XR and hauled ass all day. In the Main, the race came to him and he took full advantage of it and if he had of had one more MM of less restriction, he might have won the thing. All told, he looked very happy with second place and a big hand full of points.
