This Harley Sprint has real pedigree. Mert Lawwill won the 1970 Houston Astrodome on it and Jim McMurren raced it successfully for many decades. Tom Ferguson won the No.1 plate on it in SCFTA 500/750 Classic Brakeless in 2012. Jim is an incessant tuner and this season opted for a different motor, a higher revving 350 as opposed to last seasons 400. It is great to see a winner from the golden era still being raced and winning again.
