Floyd was one of the foremost racers of the 40's, winning the 1946 Pacific Coast T.T. Championship,a stunning victory at the Milwaukee Mile and a dominating ride over the largest field ever, to win the
1948 Daytona on the beach. Floyd's dad was a motorcycle racer and a motor cop and his son
Don also won the big Daytona race. Floyd had a thriving M/C dealership in San Diego for many years.
