Bill Warner 311 MPH Haulin' the Freight

Privateer Bill Warner just decimated the sit-on motorcycle land speed record with a run of 311 MPH at the Loring Air Force Base 1.5 mile timed runway in Limestone ,Maine. Running a 1299cc twin turbo on VP methanol fuel, rated at 1000 HP and 490FT/LBS Torque, the stock headed Hayabusa blazed through the traps at this astonishing speed at 13,000 RPM. Warner said the exciting part of the run was trying to get it whoaed up in the mile of rough runway used for the slowdown. Way to go Bill,that's flat haulin' ass !
