Cal was from San Diego and cut his teeth racing on our local tracks,so we are awful proud of him down here. His old friend and fellow racer Bruce Sanford,brought Cals 1972 Leathers to the Flat Track Reunion. To see and touch those put us back to all the remarkable feats he attained in them.
Cal won Eleven Nationals,10 on Pavement and one on Dirt.
Cal rode the #3 Harley in Britain at the Trans Atlantic Match Races where he won legions of fans by beating their best on tracks he had never seen before.
