Chuck Jordan R.I.P

Chuck Jordan, General Motors, Design Chief died last week at 83. Chuck was only the fourth V.P. of Design and he was at the wheel from the Finned Era through the Firebird and Camaro period. He designed the '58 Vette and was responsible for the '59 Caddy with the biggest, most stylish Fins of them all. Bubble Tops were Chuck's fantasy and this Aerodynamic Buick Centurion of 1956 blew the socks off a country mired in the Shoebox look of the early 50s.
