What a way to warm up on his new XR 750 for the much anticipated Arizona Mile. Sam is on a roll with four Victories in a row at Willow and this kind of confidence is good for another 20 H.P. Sammy's last ride on an XR was the last race of the year at Pomona where he was knocked down in the first few laps and restarted in last place only to come back with a vengeance and chase down the leaders at the checkers.If it had of gone a few more laps he would have won it. He was the fastest guy on the track and coming hard. This year Sam races the National Number 7 and I have a feeling he is going to make himself and that number famous again.
Brother Jethro is on a roll of his own and needs a little luck with reliable equipment. Given this, both Halbert Bros are a force to be reckoned with. This weekend could be a breakout for the very strong Team Halbert
