San Diego Short Track Wash Out
Unfortunately it rained all Saturday night and ruined any chance of a Sunday Race. The event was officially cancelled and most folks split for home. A few stayed and watched the Track Prep Crew turn a mud bog into something somewhat rideable but with some very soft spots. A few guys tried it but it wasn't really happening. Better luck next year.

Two guys who stuck it out were Lenny Rodriquez and Joe Pape. Good Buds but arch rivals in the same Class. Dino Brakeless, 500 OHV VS 750 Sidevalve. They put on a slip sliding Triumph, Harley duel that brought spectators running to the stands to see what was making all that beautiful noise.
