Steve Bonsey

This kid can ride! Back in the Good Ol' USA after another season across the pond, he threw his leg over the baddest dirt tracker he could get his hands on and showed he has not lost one ounce of his considerable flat track talent. Stevie put his XR750 on the front row of the Pomona Main Event. Not long after the race tore off the line he was down and out, a casualty of the intense battle that brews when Championships and Number One plates are at stake. Hopefully Bonsey can follow in the footsteps of other young American Dirt Track racers, namely Kenny Roberts, Freddie Spencer, Eddie Lawson, Wayne Rainey and Nicky Hayden and make a career in MotoGP. The new GP2 Series ,replacing the 250 MotoGP is the most likely place for him to shine first. Lets hope Bonsey gets the nod from KR as one of his two new American riders ( with Danny Eslick as his team mate).
