Dodge Bros. Indian Sport Scout

The "Dodge Brothers Racing" Indian Sport Scout ran in the Saddlemen Vintage class at Pomona. Wade Camlin ( Brother of the Late ,Great, Davey Camlin) did the throttle twisting and what a fine job he did on the only hard tail in the place. The track was considered rough by some ,dangerous by others with big holes dotted throughout the corners. Not suited to bikes with the only suspension they have are the seat springs. The Dodge Family have been deeply involved in Flat Track for many decades, racing Indians and Harleys, always immaculate and perfectly prepared.

Tony Dodge rolls his Indian to the pre-grid.
This is the best sounding bike around. No Supertrapps or megaphones here, just straight shotguns. This Hot Rod Indian has a sound of its own. I would describe it as Gabriel's Trumpets blowing through a Fender Amp , Aural Ecstasy !
