Spain Rodriguez

'60's ZAP Comics cartoon artist Spain Rodriguez rode with the Road Vultures (pictured at their President's funeral, Spain at left on his '74' ). I always liked his style, mainly because his Motorbike drawings were dead accurate and he obviously new his way around the starting procedure of an old Harley and how to deck a square in a good bar brawl. I never knew much about the dude but recently found the funeral photo and a good deal of info in, A New Cafe Racer Society Blog piece on Spain. He has shows going on in Buffalo and San Francisco in the coming months. Well worth trying to see.
