I just read in the always entertaining and highly informative Motorcycho Blog, that they are making a sequel Easy Rider. Thats an ambitious undertaking. To recreate the impact of the original film will be almost impossible. I sure hope they don't dilute the iconic counter cultural classic with a real stinker. This is something you don't mess with lightly. I have my fingers crossed, it better be epic.
