America's love for Hillclimbing goes way back to the beginning of the Motorcycle Industry in the U.S.A.
All the factories supported it fully, with factory teams and stars. It was well promoted and successful because decent hills next to populated towns were easy to find. Average Joes came out and witnessed the Rip Snortin', colorful, loud and thrilling world of Motorcycling and fell in love with it and went out and bought the brands they loved.
Hillclimbing is nowhere as big as it once was but still has a hardcore following who compete on Tall and Steep hills ,mainly in N.Y. PA and OH.
