Mario Andretti started his racing career on the dirt tracks of the N.E. He was racing F1, Indy Cars, Sports cars and this USAC Dirt Champ Car all during the same years. Mario attributes his success in all types of machinery to his upbringing in the full throttle world of Sprint Car racing. These run on the Mile Fairground tracks ,the same tracks used by the Flat Track bikes.
In fact, these cars are the four wheeled Flat Trackers on steroids.
